Notice of April Meeting

President Phil welcomed the members and their guests and introduced John Britton, Director Skål International. John said a few words about Skål International and advised the members that there was still space at the NAASC Congress from May 15-18, 2008. He would look forward to seeing as many of our members as possible.

John gave the Skål toast.

President Phil introduced a visiting Skålleague, Graham Cooper of the Skål International Bahamas  Club, and presented him with a Toronto North banner.

President Philip introduced the guests:

The 50/50 was won by Andy Loges.

Dinner.

The David Duncan House gave our members a choice of 6 items including New York Strip, Roast Prime Rib of Beef, Chicken Neptune, Duck à l’orange, Baby Back Ribs, Poached Salmon and Chopped Sirloin. Wine was poured throughout the meal.

Henry advised the members of our next meeting at the Rogers Centre, which will be a ball game between the Blue Jays and the Los Angeles Angels. It will be on a first come, first confirmed basis. Members will receive a special Buffet Dinner plus 3 drink coupons per person, after which all drinks will be on a cash basis. Deadline to book is May 9th, 2008. Henry advised that guests are also welcome.

Henry again advised that SICAN has a reimbursement fund to help members defray costs to attend the NAASC Congress from May 15-18, 2008. Contact Henry for more information.

The closing toast was given by President Phil.

The meeting closed at 9:00pm.
